This is how we truly solve the plastic problem

the solution with yellow oil 4 steps Ai

1 The plastic waste is fed into a closed reactor.

2 The plastic is heated to approximately 450 °C without oxygen (pyrolysis).

3 The gases that are formed are condensed into environmentally friendly bio-oil.

4 The bio-oil is used as a raw material for new plastic or sold to global chemical corporations.

Imagine a reverse vending machine – but on a larger scale.

Instead of cans, you put in plastic waste and out comes bio-oil.

🎥How is plastic waste turned into clean, valuable oil?
In episode 5 from the Corsair Masterclass series, Jussi goes through the entire pyrolysis process — clearly, concretely, and for real.

🎥How much oil can one ton of plastic become?
In this clip, Jussi shows how 1,000 kilos of plastic are transformed into 900 liters of valuable oil.

The factory in Kaipola, Finland.
Every day, plastic waste is converted into environmentally friendly pyrolysis oil in Corsair’s factories — a clean raw material that replaces fossil oil.
This is proof that the solution works in practice, not just in theory.

This is what the solution looks like in reality

Here you get to see the people and the work behind the solution – exactly as it works in reality.
The plastic is weighed, registered, and recycled into new raw material that is sold to international companies like Shell.

“We see plastic as the raw material it always should have been – not as waste.”

Corsair Group – the company that makes it possible

Corsair Group International operates modern facilities where plastic waste is converted into environmentally friendly pyrolysis oil – for real, every day.

The company is one of the pioneers in chemical plastic recycling. With a focus on Asia and Europe, Corsair is building a global infrastructure that makes it profitable to take care of plastic instead of letting it become waste.

  • The technology – proprietary pyrolysis systems that make plastic recycling possible on an industrial scale.

  • The scale – factories in operation in Asia and Europe, with plans to grow globally.

  • Responsibility – focus on both environmental benefits, local jobs, and long-term profitability.

A new circular economy is emerging

Corsair shows that plastic can not only be taken care of – it can be the basis for a completely new economy.

When plastic waste is converted into environmentally friendly pyrolysis oil and digital plastic credits (CSR), a system is created where companies, investors, and individuals can participate and drive the change – and at the same time take part in the value that is being built up.

Here, sustainability, innovation, and profitability meet: plastic not only disappears from nature, it gains economic value.

Environment
Reduces the amount of plastic in nature, oceans, and landfills.
Climate
Saves up to three tons of CO₂ for every ton of plastic that is converted.
Economy
Bio-oil and plastic credits create value in a global market.

This technology not only changes the plastic waste – it changes the whole game.

When plastic gets a value, a new economy is born where collection becomes profitable, recycling becomes obvious, and circular flows become standard. This is not just recycling. This is a global solution that changes the world.

🎥 This is what we do (6:31 minutes)

It is our responsibility to do everything we can to reduce plastic waste and leave behind a cleaner, healthier, and safer planet – for our children and for future generations.

Corsair wants to collaborate with individuals, companies, and organizations all over the world who share our desire to create a cleaner future.

Be the change you want to see in the world.

New EU regulations are part of the solution

PPWR2

PPWR is transforming the entire plastic market.

It is a binding EU regulation that came into force in 2025, will begin to apply on August 12, 2026, and must be fully implemented by 2027.

It means that plastic can no longer just be collected.
Companies must be able to show what actually happens to it afterwards.

That’s where Corsair comes in. Plastic waste that would otherwise often be incinerated or lost can instead be converted into environmentally friendly bio-oil, which can be used to produce new plastic.

One of the few solutions that truly takes plastic all the way.

4 common questions and answers:

Pyrolysis is an advanced form of chemical recycling where plastic is heated without oxygen and broken down into a new raw material: pyrolysis oil.
This allows plastic waste, even that which cannot be mechanically recycled, to be reintroduced into the economy.
The method is proven, used by industry, and works on a large scale.
That’s why pyrolysis is one of the most effective solutions for truly reducing the plastic crisis.

Corsair has built the entire infrastructure required for chemical recycling to truly work: collection, pre-sorting, logistics, proprietary pyrolysis plants, and sales of end products.
They solve “the missing link” in the plastic industry – that plastic needs somewhere to go.
Corsair’s model is traceable, transparent, and approved by leading actors, including UN partnerships.
This means their solution can be scaled globally.

Pyrolysis creates products that already have a strong market. Plastic is converted into pyrolysis oil, which is sold as a raw material to industry to produce new plastics and energy.
This means the process is self-financing: plastic → oil → revenue.
In addition, companies purchase certified plastic credits to meet their sustainability goals.
Two stable revenue streams make the model long-term profitable and scalable.

New legal requirements, ESG goals, and UN initiatives are driving companies to act on the plastic issue immediately.
Plastic production is increasing – while the demand for sustainable solutions has never been greater.
Corsair already has the technology, facilities, and partnerships in place for when demand explodes.
This makes the timing for this type of solution historically strong.
